Harlem Salsa: Bringing Music and Culture Back to Life in 2025

Harlem Salsa has long been a cornerstone of music and culture in our community, celebrating the richness of salsa music and its ability to bring people together. Although quiet since 2016, and with plans disrupted by the pandemic in 2019, Harlem Salsa is back—this time as a Not-for-Profit Organization.

Our mission is to preserve and expand the vibrant tradition of salsa music, recognizing its spiritual and healing power within our community. As a Not-for-Profit, we’re working to make events accessible to everyone by seeking support through donations, partnerships with local businesses, and corporate sponsorships. This support allows us to keep musicians working and the music alive for generations to come.

We are planning pay-to-attend events in the fall, winter, and spring, with the hope that their success will help fund free summer events for the entire community. The ability to provide these opportunities depends on the support of all who share our passion for this incredible music and culture.

Our website features photos from Harlem Salsa’s vibrant past, spanning 2007 to 2016—a testament to the joy and unity these events brought to our community. We invite you to explore these memories, reflect on what we’ve built together, and dream with us about what’s next. Your support will help us expand on this legacy and create even more unforgettable moments.

Let’s keep Harlem Salsa alive and thriving for the enjoyment of all. Together, we can continue to celebrate and grow this cherished tradition.
